On the road to self-discovery, a person will have to confront personal demons as well as discover treasures hidden within us all. For some of us life is so full of possibility that a singular ‘treasure’ within us remains hidden… waiting to be discovered. “I still haven’t figured that out yet,” says Katy Ngo of Cincinnati, Ohio. “We can discover that together.” And at this little statement I get a tad excited. This girl is likeable. And off we go.

 

 

 

How; I conjecture, do we go about discovering whatever treasure lies hidden within this naturally sexy lady? She says she doesn’t need to work out as nature has saw fit to equip her with good genes. For now she is physically blessed and “hopefully” nature will keep course. Her idea of beauty is centered on being “natural,” with “not too much makeup and hair dye.”  It is also her “natural hair” that she credits with making her standout. Perhaps it’s her love of natural beauty that is a hidden treasure. 

 

Women are a puzzle to me sometimes but not so much Katy. There seems to be a simplicity to her that makes me want to complicate her life; and I like it. Though I'm not sure she can handle complications of this magnitude. Ha. Anyhow she seems to be well aware that it’s her “personality” that girls admire and that guys love it “when girls laugh at their jokes.” If I were to tell her I was falling in love with her would Katy think it was a joke and laugh in my face? 

 

Never mind that, if I should ever be so lucky to get her to go out with me all I have to worry about is spilling food and drinks on myself. She’s made it quite clear she won’t tolerate it. Before we get that I have to at least know what she likes. “Pasta is my favorite so Olive Garden it is,” she mentions. “[I] love to shop in Chicago [and] clubs are good because I love to dance.” If I offered the Vietnamese beauty an escape, courtesy of HTM, to a place far off to unwind Katy quickly announces, “Anywhere with a nice beach and warm sand.”

 

 

 

Katy became a model after “looking at magazines and seeing how fun modeling can be.” “Tyra Banks is my inspiration,” she says while noting that it’s her grandma that is her main motivation. Never one to have a hard time balancing her career and personal life, Katy’s attitude has changed since becoming an object of public lust. “You should always believe in yourself,” her words showing a hint of the philosophical.  She would love to work with so many companies there is no use trying to name them all.

 

 

 

When it comes to her modeling, her friends are supportive. They tell her “it’s cool and to have fun with it.” Some of these friends are from back in the day when she was a “girly-girl” and “of course” she still keeps in touch with them. Loyalty must be somewhere inside her as well. An unforgettable moment of love would involve an explicit show of allegiance and devotion. “When you have that someone special at your side no matter what situation you’re in,” she explains.  I share this ideal with her. There is no better moment than being spoken for by someone who loves you. 

 

 

 

As a Cancer and being a woman, Katy is prone to mood swings. I’m sure she will find herself upset with me for one reason or another. If so, “food and one flower picked from outside” is all she requires when I come seeking forgiveness. Which I will because I love my girls and hate when they’re mad at me but love to make them mad; they are so cute. Maybe I will shower her with compliments. “I have pretty eyes,” she says of the best compliment she’s received. I think I can come up with a few more. 

 

Katy has a love-hate relationship with food preparation. “My cooking skills…” she says with a pause. “Love it when it’s good… hate it when it’s bad because then I wasted my time [laughs].” All she wants in the world is her beloved dog and to see world peace. All I want in the world is for the naturally sexy exotic beauty to feel welcome here at Hidden Treasures Magazine.
