Medellin, Colombia. This city in South America’s reputation precedes it. Equal parts violent and beautiful; it was once the most violent city in the world. The beauty of this city and surrounding areas is unmistakable along with the women. Beautiful girls like Esteffany inhabit the mountains of The Andes, somehow wind up in America and end up in Hidden Treasures Magazine. Small World.

 

 

 In a small world, modeling is fierce competition. “What motivates me? …myself because I’ve always been very independent,” she says. “I’ve been living without my parents since I was little so I just want to finish my degree in nursing and do something good with my life. Every day is a motivation for me.” In all this inherent competition, a model needs an edge; something that separates them from the others. “Well I’m very self-confident. I go for what I want and I think that everyone’s beauty is unique.”

 

Esteffany is new to modeling. “I never tried modeling. This is actually my first time, even though it was something that was constantly suggested to me by my family and friends.” Her family and friends had always told her to try it yet she never took it seriously. “I was too shy to start thinking I could turn into a model.” Esteffany had consistently received compliments on how photogenic she was but still never took the leap until now. Hidden Treasures Magazine has the pleasure of being the first to publish this Colombian princess.

 

 

 No one particularly influenced Esteffany’s modeling. “I do admire artists who have a sexy edge like Natalia Paris,” she mentions. Natalia is Colombian also and Esteffany is “shocked by her beauty.”  “I would like to work with my favorite clothing companies like Guess, A/X, BeBe, or Ambercrombie & Fitch.  I just love the way they work.

 

 

I wanted to know her ‘Hidden Treasure.’ “My hidden treasure,” she begins, “would be that I’m very spiritual.” Her hidden treasure is my hidden treasures. Growing up Esteffany was “quiet, shy and very into my schooling. I have always been a girly girl.”

 

Esteffany was born and raised on Medellin but “came to the U.S. when I was 12. Since then I have been living in Elizabeth, Nj.” She further adds, “I just love the fact that [Elizabeth] is very diverse in race.” When it comes time to leave her city, “NY is just my favorite city to do anything in. It has lots of good places to shop and also really good restaurants. There are actually many different kinds but they’re all really good. And for parties [NY] is also pretty good.”

 

A simple and adorable girl; Esteffany would love nothing more than to see “world peace” and the one thing she can’t live without is her cell phone and “my car.” That’s two things but whose counting?
