A newly risen sun brings with it previously unseen ripples in the Schukyll River. I am momentarily blinded as the sun rises to eye level. I sit perched on a balcony, in a great location; Sea Gulls display aerodynamic acrobatics that remind you of how nature set the example for all else to follow. What else would have compelled us to fly? To my right the Ben Franklin Bridge stands as a formidable ally against neighboring Camden. My friend, from Dehran Dun, India has made authentic Thai tea and I am very close to being at peace. The vibrant spirit of Independence is felt here in Historic Philadelphia unlike any place else.
