Pioneer of luxury mobile phones Vertu has opened its new store in IFC, Hong Kong. The new design draws inspiration from the product range, as well as the interior design first revealed at Baselworld 2011.
Upon arriving at the store,customers are welcomed by a facade featuring an interpretation of a design element of the SIM card drawer in the Signature handset - a motif repeated throughout the store. Fashioned with brushed steel and soft black leather, thein-store counters use materials employed exclusively across the Vertu product range. While the Vertu V has been integrated into the interior details to create a synergy between the products and their visual presentation, the grey and silver tones aptly complement existing Vertu store concepts.
In an attempt to merge history with technology, pages of a new electronic brand book are projected onto a wall for viewing, providing an insight into the culture and values of Vertu, as well as the product portfolio.
President Perry Oosting museson the design concept: “Vertu aims to enhance and enrich customers’ lives through the services and products we offer. This enrichment will now further extend to the experience in our stores with a focused, tailored approach to customer interaction”.
