Audi Releases Carbon Ski
Audi has released a ski of minimalist design which focuses on one premium material: carbon.
High-strength carbon fibre envelops layers of aluminum, titanium and the ski’s wood core, offering excellent stiffness while also minimizing torsion. At 1,550 grams (with a ski length of 170cm) the ski will also be about 200 grams lighter than comparable models, making it maneuverable and agile.
Z Sydney Overmarine Mangusta 165 Superyacht
The yacht in question, Z Sydney, is a $50 million Overmarine Mangusta 165, the world’s largest open yacht, owned by media mogul James Packer. In December, Packer entertained Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal on the yacht, while his old friend Tom Cruise regularly enjoys a trip on the vessel during his annual trips Down Under. The sleek craft can hit a top speed of 33 knots with its twin MTU 16V 4000 M93 engines producing 4,556 hp.
Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Bentley Flying Spur
At last year's Geneva Motor Show, Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera unveiled a dramatic vision for a shooting brake based on the Bentley Continental. For those unfamiliar, a shooting brake is a retro automotive body-style that is essentially a wagon sans two doors, and was a favorite of independent coach builders like Touring. The car stole the show, and now the Milanese coach builder is taking orders.
