Exclusive HTM Interview | Miami's Stella Vidal HTM: First tell our readers where you are from? Stella: I am originally from Cali, Colombia HTM: What kind of girl were you growing up? Stella: I was a complete Tomboy. Always played and competed with the boys. Very little has changed. I played professional football with the Lingerie Football League and currently train MMA. HTM: What city do you represent now? Stella: I am now living in beautiful and sexy Miami! HTM: What's the best thing about the city you live in? Stella: The weather allows us to wear minimal clothing :) HTM: Tell our readers something about yourself they would not have expected, name your 'Hidden Treasure.' Stella: One hidden treasure? Hmmm... I am obsessed with lip gloss. I am always wearing it and go through it like candy! Lol HTM: What got you into modeling? Stella: Interestingly enough it was my adorable son who suggested that I become a model. It was because of him that I set up my first photo shoot about 2 years ago. HTM: Who were your influences? Stella: No one in particular. However I do admire artists who have a sexy edge. Fergie, Lady Gaga... They are sexy women who follow in no one's footsteps. They have their own entity and I try my best to be the same. HTM: Before you became a model what did you do for work and what would your former boss/colleagues say about you? Stella: I have a Masters degree in Psychology and I have worked with abused children and their families. I still stay involved with the cause and try to do a toy drive every year for the holidays. My former collegues would say that I am a positive person with a passion for life. HTM: What motivates you? Stella: Being a good role model for my little boy. HTM: Do you find it hard to balance your career with your personal life? Stella: Balance is something I always strive for. Its not as difficult as some may think. You just have to keep your priorities straight. Family always comes first for me. HTM: What unique experience or qualities separate you from other models? Stella: My bi-cultural upbringing, my education and my positive outlook allow me to appreciate every opportunity placed in front of me as well as the people who support me. HTM: Name your favorite venues and cities to shop, eat and party in. Stella: South Beach and downtown Miami. I also love to party in New York city!
Coming from the South American city of Cali, Colombia's 3rd largest city, it seems Stella brought the pride in her heritage with her while simultaneously embracing wholeheartedly America culture with great gratitude and appreciation. Her family is here in the states as well and has embraced America with the same enthusiasm. Stella would love to be in a feature film or have her own television show. She is presently developing her own show called "Living La Vida Miami" which is in final production. You can check out the website for updates: www.livinlavidamiami.com
