Rock Star Revolt
Music - Rock Star Revolt

Hip-hop has come a long way since AfriKa Bambaattaa and The Black Spades. The style has changed considerably and every year a new crop of artists spring up touting their art as that new 'ish'. HTM’s Rock Star Revolt gives a voice to these rising artists allowing them to clearly state their intentions with an uncensored voice. “I want [my music] to stop people from listening to the garbage they been listening to,” says B.A.R.S. Murre (pronounced Murray) and get up on some fly shit.”

Tracey Delara. Sexy. Sweet.Talented. A recording artist from the Philadelphia area with her eyes fixed on the top. I won’t deny it, I think she’s adorable. A voice both sweet and strong, qualities I look for in a songstress. I’ve seen her around for some time and only recently had the opportunity to interview the live but far from local Tracey Delara.

Rock Star Revolt | Marcia's Pink Clouds

Music - Rock Star Revolt
I recently ran across an artist with a unique story. I had to learn more about the lady floating on "Pink Clouds."

RSR: How did you come up with Pink Clouds? It is such a unique title for an album.

Marcia: Pink Clouds came to me when I was living in Korea. I had a prophetic dream and in this dream I was looking outside of my window, and outside of my  house beyond the driveway, there was a long line of people who seemed to be sad, depressed and without... the outcasts and poorest in society. Their heads were hung low and with them they carried all of their belongings (not much of anything). It was almost as if I stepped into a movie that depicted the ancient times of Israel. I had great sympathy but also had conviction to help them. I got out of my bed (my comfort zone of rest) walked out into the street and a voice called me to the beginning of the line. When I reached the front of the line I was told to help all who were despondent. Everyplace I would look in the dream it was pink, as if a mist had been sprayed throughout the land, and I felt protected. When I awoke from my dream, I without doubt knew my calling, was to forever help those in need and to provide hope through my music. Symbolically, "Pink Clouds" represent salvation and happiness; the same salvation and happiness I have been given by God.

Internationally recognized since 2001 when he won second place in his first Spanish rap contest on the Hispanic program Sabado Gigante, Dainamite is a star worthy of the world’s attention. He has been creating music since 1994 and is a consummate performer as well. Having performed and collaborated with many famous artists including Marger, Aiko, Luis Karlos, Rodolfo Castera from Objetivo Fama, Flo Rida, Don Chezina Terror Squad and many more, we can only look forward to a long and varied career from Dainamite.

With just a cassette player, when Julio was twelve, he began to experiment making his own mix of Rap and Reggaeton. At the age of sixteen, Dainamite answered the call of the guitar which earned him the distinction of being the only Rapper in his city producing Rap with a guitar. With training in dance, acting and modeling Dainamite is set to take over the world. Miami first!

I recently had the opportunity to pose a few questions to DAINAMITE: Man On Fire.

I see you had a full page in Miami New Times. How does it feel to be so popular in Miami; the sexiest city in the world?  Well its not about being popular… its about making great music for the people to enjoy.

How serious are you about your acting? I'm very serious about my acting… in fact I'm taking acting classes to do soap operas and movies in Spanish and English as well.

How would you describe your music? My music is strong and intense as well as soft and detailed.... I try to inspire people... motivation with messages... my music is for the people.

How is it you’ve come to collaborate with so many well known artists?  It’s all hard work and dedication.... being patient and believing in yourself.

What are some of your more recent collaborations? Well collaborating with Samir the hit Meiker.... and other surprises that will come in 2010.
