A few cups of espresso will turn anyone into a speed demon, but this conceptual espresso maker created by Ilgar Rustamov lets you proclaim your need for speed before you even take your first sip. The aptly-named Racepresso is modeled after Formula 1 racer Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari helmet, with the approval of the racer.

The days of your vulture-claw grip on a rollerball mouse from 1998 are screeching to a halt. Apple unveiled their newest peripheral device, the Apple Magic Trackpad. And, surprise, it works almost exactly like the trackpads that are already on Macbooks, it’s just bigger and with slightly different functionality.

So many smartphones, so few fingers – but being big fans of Android it was impossible to pass up an early review copy of the Samsung Galaxy S. And, sure enough, turn it on and the best of Google is arrayed right in front of you on an easy-to-edit, stylish-looking homepage screen (including search-by-voice functionality and video call capability).

 Nokia may not be too funky with their mobile phone designs for mass production but you have to admit, their concept designs are something that look, quite literally, out of this world. Morph, a joint Nanotechnology concept, developed by Nokia Research Center (NRC) and the University of Cambridge (UK) – was launched today alongside the “Design and the Elastic Mind” exhibition, at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Morph features in both the exhibition catalog and on MoMA’s official website.
